The photoset called "Cabana", supposed to be Jack Bourboulon's, features Juman, in a complete different style from the Bourboulon's one. Actually, the style is more Pasha's one, Juman is his model, the style of the photographs are completely different from Jack Bourboulon's ones and Juman is in the same place, wears the same clothes, the same necklace, the same colors that Cleopatra, a Pasha photoset. Met-Art surely made a big mistake, attributing this set to Jacques Bourboulon...
Confirmation : the photoset called "Cabana", supposed to be a Bourboulon's photoset IS, actually, "Cleopatra"'s Pasha. The pictures are exactly the same !
@ RUSSELL, as promised:
Most books that I've ordered, arrived within 2 weeks, which is very nice !
Des corps naturels (Editions Filipacchi, 1980, with sonnets by Serge Gainsbourg) 144.00 €
Coquines (Kaktus Ed., 1982) 458.86 US$
Attitudes (Paris: Ed. Carrère, 1984) 239.00 €
JACQUES BOURBOULON Photo Book ( 1994) 99.99 €
JACQUES BOURBOULON Volume II ( 1994) 125.00 US$
Photographier le nu (Editions VM, 1996) 99.00 €
As you can see, some of his works have become really expensive collector's items.
I did have trouble with these two, however:
Jacques BOURBOULON (2 parts, NGS Verlag, 1982):
was unfortunately sold out and no longer available.
Melodies (JMV Diffusion, 1987)
The French branch of Amazon refused my order, saying that the data on my credit card
was incorrect. Which is strange, since I've already placed orders in France without any problems.
I've re-typed the data from my Visa card for 7 (seven) times, but to no avail...
Comments
nice would be:
photographer sets (like it is)
and under the sets the photergrapher has shooted, a link to
the model from the set
I agree - I will look into it (:R
The model on the Joie de Vivre covers is Yutta.
The model on the "Energia" covers is Emmanuelle. Check out this old link I found on the internet archives:
http://web.archive.org/web/20040619110802/yeahmet2.adult.directnic.com/Galleries/Teens/met-jb/
The image 0036 looks similar to the cover.
Hi Sheppo, from your comment I was able to track down another cover. I've added a new model page Emmanuelle

To verify and to fix it.

Sorry, this was a Met Models mistake not a Met-Art one
cuales son los nombres de las modelos en la revista performa
I still have a strange fascination for the man and his work. I think I'll go on ebay and amazon, looking for his books.
For the Bio page:
He was born on December 8th, 1946.
This probably makes him the oldest photographer on this forum...
Let me know if you find any of his books (:R
You can find J.B. on the English wikipedia:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jacques_Bourboulon
This was his official site which existed between 2003 and 2008.
Some pages still exist in archives:
http://web.archive.org/web/20040411111721/http://www.jacques-bourboulon.net/HTML/artist.html
Today I've also ordered some books.
I'll report back when I receive them?
This set contains some pictures of Yutta by Jacques Bourboulon.
