When we think of December, we think of snow, ice and nice, warm fires – but where Playmate Cara Michelle is concerned, the month of December is an island paradise. Hailing from Molokai, Hawaii, Cara is tall and all natural, and thanks her European heritage for her dark brown hair and brown eyes. “I’m over six feet tall,” she says. “That’s my German background, too!” At 6’2”, it seemed only natural that Cara would become a model – and after years of surfing, sailing and sunning in Hawaii, she decided to try her hand in New York City. Once on the streets of Manhattan, it wasn’t long before Cara came to Los Angeles, which is to say our attention – in lei-man’s terms, we made the Hawaiian beauty our Miss December 2000. “I never stay anywhere for more than six months,” admits Cara. “My philosophy is to experience everything now, and save yourself the midlife crisis later!” Having earned a degree in liberal arts, she plans to travel the world, and hopes to meet Mr. Right somewhere along the way. “I throw my heart, soul and body into everything I do,” she says. “Just go for it!” Heart and soul, Cara – though we must admit, the body is our favorite part.
